About The Author

My love for romance novels started decades ago while I was in high school. I devoured the books, sometimes reading them in class.

Sister Eileen, my English teacher at the Catholic school I attended, "punished" me by banishing me to the library to read. I soon realized that she knew this was no punishment, as the time outside class gave me the opportunity to finish reading my latest novel. For her, it was a way to get me out of her class when  she was dealing with material I already knew and was bored.

Brother John, our tall, brown-haired, green-eyed Irish Maths teacher who I firmly believed could have easily posed as a hero of one of my novels, was less lenient about my habit to read romance novels when I was done with the maths problems.

"Yes Bridget, they did live happily ever after. And now that we know that, could you please put the book away so that we can study maths?" he'd say when he arrived in class and found me absorbed in a novel.

By the time I reached university, I knew I wanted to write the romance novels too. That dream is taking a while to make into reality. Thankfully, I never give up. And I am willing to work hard to make my dream career happen.

Meanwhile, I make a living as a freelance writer, writing mostly educational and corporate material. I enjoy that work too, and have the priviledge of working from home and not having to live in any particular city/town to do my work. The hours are long, the money is sometimes erratic, but it's a good life.
